Applicant's Qualifications:

This scholarship is for graduating high school African American females from Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, May River, and  Hardeeville High Schools.

• Applicants must attend a 4-year accredited college, university, or post-secondary institution in pursuit of a degree within one year of high school graduation.

• Applicants must have at least a 2.75 cumulative Grade Point Average on a 4.0 scale in order to qualify for a scholarship award

• Applicants are required to submit an Official High School Diploma transcript in a sealed envelope.

• Applicants from Hardeeville High School must have a Hardeeville home address.

• Submission of 2 typed letters of recommendation on business or school letterhead is required.

• A panel interview may occur. You will be notified by phone or mail with the date and time of your interview.

• Applicants are required to submit a typed essay. The essay is an important part of the selection process.
